Improved Siri
Let’s be honest, when it comes to virtual assistants, Siri isn’t the most popular. Options like Alexa and Google Assistant have proven to be more accurate and effective at answering queries and controlling smart homes, and are generally better equipped to handle AI requests.
With the addition of Apple Intelligence, Siri is now more accurate and functional across all your devices. You’ll be able to give natural commands on your device and enjoy cross-app features like asking Siri to “send my friend pictures of this weekend’s barbecue.” With personal context being a big part of the update, you’ll be able to get personalized results for your experience, rather than standard responses for everyone.
Apple Intelligence also gives Siri some common-sense improvements, like the ability to understand when you’re hesitant about a query. So if you ask, “Can you look up when the museum opens… I mean closes,” Siri will be able to give you the right answer.
Plus, with visual intelligence, you’ll be able to point your phone at storefronts, parks, and other landmarks to get instant information. Sure, Google Lens has had this feature for years, but hey, at least Apple is catching up!
