1) iPhone 16 launch date confirmed:
Earlier this week, Apple Apple has finally confirmed the launch date of its flagship iPhone 16 series, setting the event for September 9 this year, a day earlier than the September 10 date that many reports had predicted. Apart from the four iPhone 16 variants, Apple is expected to launch the AirPods 4 in two new versions, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch Series 10, and iPad Mini 7.
2) The OnePlus 13 could be here sooner than expected:
A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed that OnePlus has moved up the schedule for its OnePlus 13 OnePlus’ press conference is expected to take place in late October or November. If the rumor is true, it would mean that the OnePlus 13 will be here much earlier than its predecessor. For the record, OnePlus usually delays the launch of its new devices until January, but with Qualcomm likely to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset in October, the Chinese smartphone maker could be looking to take advantage of this.
3) Google Meet has an AI-powered note-taker:
Google Meet gets a Gemini An AI-powered feature called “take notes for me” lets you take notes right from the video call. The new update was first announced by the tech giant back in September and is now rolling out to select Google Workspace users starting today.
Take Notes for Me is an AI-powered feature that automatically captures meeting notes and provides an easy way to share them with other meeting participants. Recorded notes are automatically saved to the meeting owner’s Google Drive and shared with all calendar invitees across the organization. Additionally, latecomers can use the “summary so far” feature to familiarize themselves with the progress of the meeting without interrupting the ongoing discussion.
4) Meta AI might get a new voice chat mode on WhatsApp:
Apparently, Meta AI WhatsApp could soon be getting a “voice chat” mode, allowing users to better communicate with the chatbot and personalize their interactions. The feature was first spotted by WABetainfo on the WhatsApp Android 2.24.18.18 beta update found on Google Play Store and could soon make its way to the stable version of the app.
The new voice chat mode will allow users to have real-time conversations with Meta AI using voice commands. This new feature is expected to enable faster, more natural, and more efficient conversations with Meta AI, as speaking is faster than typing. Meta AI would be able to answer the user’s questions with a selected voice, which can be changed according to the user’s preferences.
Additionally, WhatsApp is reportedly testing a shortcut to quickly invoke Meta AI’s voice chat mode by simply tapping the floating action button in the chat list.
5) Vivo T3 Pro Launch in India:
