Vectra AI names Jeff Reed as Chief Product Officer to propel the company’s impact on AI in cybersecurity

This latest appointment comes at a time of increased growth and dynamism for the company, following the launch of Vectra® AI Platform last summer, and the launch this year of Vectra MXDRthe industry’s first global 24/7 MXDR service designed to defend against hybrid attacks.

Reed will serve in this new role as part of the Vectra AI leadership team and will be responsible for strategy for all product initiatives, such as engineering, product management, product and technical marketing, and customer support . This includes overseeing operations and providing strategic direction to further drive exceptional value.
Reed joins Vectra AI from Google Cloud™, where he most recently served as vice president of product for cloud security and, before that, led products for the Kubernetes® Engine, Anthos™ and portfolio serverless from Google. Before joining Google in 2020, Reed held several leadership roles during a ten-year tenure at Cisco, including senior vice president of product management for Cisco. 16 billion dollars enterprise networking company and senior vice president and general manager of cloud and network security.
