GitHub offers businesses a premium AI coding tool
Microsoft Corp.-owned GitHub is launching a more expensive paid version of its artificial intelligence (AI) software development tool. This tool can answer questions based on a company’s proprietary programming code, with the goal of helping new engineers ramp up quickly and allowing experienced coders to improve their efficiency. GitHub, a platform making it easier for programmers to collaborate on coding projects, is integrating AI into its products and services to attract a broader subscriber base. The new Copilot Enterprise will cost $39 per user per month and will include AI chat features aimed at simplifying problem solving, program modernization and other tasks for engineers.
India has more than 800 million internet users
According to a new report, India has over 800 million internet users, 86% of whom use over-the-top (OTT) audio and video services as the primary application of technology in the country. The Internet in India 2023 report states that more than 90% of Indians access the internet daily, spending an average of around 1.5 hours online. However, the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and Kantar report suggests that the growth rate of the Internet user base is slowing down.
Nothing about the Phone 2a revealed upon unboxing
The Nothing Phone 2a is scheduled to launch in India on March 5. The company recently confirmed details of its system-on-chip (SoC) and now, a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, reveals the Nothing Phone 2a in a white color variant. Continuing the trend of previous models, this upcoming device features a transparent back panel. Positioned top-center in a pill-shaped camera module, the dual rear camera adds to the phone’s sleek design.

Instagram could launch “Friend Map” to track the location of friends
Meta-owned Instagram is developing a new feature called “Friend Map,” which has similarities to Snap Map, media reports said. This feature is rumored to introduce a world map interface, allowing users to view their friends’ recent movements. According to the leaked information, users will have the ability to see other people positioned on the map, relying on shared location data. Additionally, users can actively participate by placing themselves on the map via posts containing location information.
