Apple embraces AI with its iPhone 16 lineup
Apple has launched into the Artificial intelligence is all the rage with a new iPhone 16 range It’s the company’s latest attempt to take a tech trend and turn it into a cultural phenomenon. The company announced four different iPhone 16 models, all equipped with special chips needed to power a suite of AI tools.
The AI features are designed to transform Siri, the often-clumsy virtual assistant, into a smarter, more versatile companion, automating a wide range of tedious tasks and performing other crowd-pleasing tricks, like creating custom emojis in seconds. Most of Apple’s AI features will roll out as part of a free software update to iOS 18, the operating system that will power the iPhone 16.
Google defends second antitrust lawsuit

Samsung factory in India faces workers’ strike

The strike comes after the South Korean union staged a four-day strike in August to demand wage increases and bonuses after negotiations with management failed.
Samsung employs fewer than 2,000 workers at its factory in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai city, which makes refrigerators and washing machines. Nearly half of daily production has been affected at the plant as many workers have not reported for work, an industry source with direct knowledge said.
