The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has launched its latest academic offering, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics, for the next academic year, 2024- 25.
This undergraduate degree aims to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in AI and data analytics. Admissions to this program will be facilitated through the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), with ongoing counseling from the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) currently underway for the 2024 batch.
The B.Tech. in AI and Data Analytics is designed to foster expertise in a broad range of AI and data analytics applications, spanning diverse industries.
With a cohort of 50 students admitted through JEE, the program emphasizes fundamental mathematics, data science, AI, machine learning, application development and responsible design principles, offering students students a holistic understanding of the field.
