Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that it has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to offer two new cybersecurity solutions to its clients.
TCS partners with Google Cloud to offer two solutions: TCS Managed Detection and Response solution and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution
These solutions will enhance enterprises’ threat detection and response capabilities, even in non-cloud environments, and help TCS customers build future-proof and secure businesses, the company said.
This partnership aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of companies across all sectors and empower them to innovate by domain using cutting-edge technologies from TCS and Google Cloud.
TCS’ Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution, powered by the Google Security Operations Platform, will enable security teams to reduce the time it takes to detect and respond to threats. It combines the advanced threat detection capabilities of hyperscalers with TCS’s contextual insights to enable continuous security monitoring and response around the clock.
TCS Secure Cloud Foundation leverages the capabilities of Google Cloud security solutions to strengthen security posture and cloud governance across single, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments by integrating security and compliance safeguards across the DevSecOps lifecycle. Leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation, the solution continuously monitors risks, identifies gaps, and recommends remediation.
TCS has already successfully deployed both solutions for several of its customers. For example, the Secure Cloud Foundation solution helped a Germany-based global bank automate, identify and deploy over 800 security policies at creation and runtime, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, the company said in the press release.
In a decade-long partnership, TCS and Google Cloud have helped global enterprises transform their businesses through the power of the cloud. This new phase of the partnership will focus on leveraging Google Cloud’s AI-powered security portfolio across threat intelligence, security operations, and cloud security. TCS and Google Cloud will help customers secure their cloud transformation journey by delivering tailored solutions at global scale, along with local expertise to meet regulatory compliance.
Peter Bailey, Vice President and General Manager of Security Operations at Google Cloud, said: “TCS and Google Cloud have a long history of working together to help customers harness the power of cloud and AI to grow and transform their businesses. The integration of Google Security Operations into TCS MDR and Secure Cloud Foundation is a natural evolution of this partnership, enabling TCS and our customers to leverage Google SecOps’ global scale, search capability, integrated AI-assisted investigation and response workflows, and Mandiant Threat Intelligence. Together, we can help customer organizations dramatically improve their security posture and ability to respond to threats in real time.”
TCS is an IT services, consulting and business solutions company, offering an integrated portfolio of consulting-driven, cognitive-based business, technology and engineering services and solutions.
