T-Hub, India’s leading startup incubator, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), a department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, India, today inaugurated a one-of-its-kind technology hub for learning automatic and artificial intelligence (MATHEMATICS). This momentous occasion marks a significant step forward towards harnessing AI and ML to propel India’s technological prowess on the global stage.
With its strategic vision to drive AI innovation, create employment opportunities and provide a conducive ecosystem for AI startups, MATH has set ambitious goals to propel the Indian AI market to new heights. The Center of Excellence aims to generate over 500 AI-related jobs by 2025 and support over 150 startups annually, thereby positioning itself as the go-to destination for AI-focused initiatives in the country.
The Indian AI market is expected to reach $17 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 25-35%. In line with this growth trajectory, the inauguration of MATH as a Center of Excellence represents a crucial milestone in the advancement of AI and ML in India.
