As a new study reveals that a significant number of businesses are missing out on global opportunities by failing to become multilingual, the leader in enterprise CMS History block joined forces with Locatean AI-powered translation tool that allows brands to localize content faster and easier than ever.

The launch comes as research suggests that a large number of businesses are limiting their ability to expand into international markets by not prioritizing localization. A recent Storyblok global survey of 500 marketers found that 79% of businesses publish content in just 1-3 languages in their CMS. The highest percentage (35%) publish content in only one language.
Yet at the same time, 43% said translation and localization of content was extremely important, and only 7% said it was not important. 81% also agree that publishing content in more languages would aid their customer acquisition efforts, while 44% of this group say it would be a “tremendous help” to those activities.
This comes as previous Storyblok reveals that providing content in a second language significantly increases traffic growth rate: adding 1-3 additional languages can lead to a growth rate of up to 26% over a period of 3 months and a growth rate of 24%. in a period of 6 months
Fortunately, it appears that AI has part of the answer: 90% say they would consider using it to translate their CMS content into more languages. Storyblok’s integration with Lokalise makes this possible by integrating AI-driven translations into the CMS.
