NCS today announced a expanded collaboration with Microsoft in Asia Pacific to enable customers to accelerate AI and cloud solutions. NCS will create a dedicated Microsoft Growth Engine with comprehensive functionality across all six Microsoft solution areas.(1). This strengthened alliance aims to provide businesses and governments in the Asia-Pacific region with innovative solutions and new intellectual property from NCS, deployed on Microsoft technology and offered in the Microsoft Marketplace.
Based on a shared vision for harnessing technology and innovation, the collaboration will include investments in intellectual property creation, unified go-to-market and accelerated capability development. NCS will invest an initial amount of SGD 1.5 million to develop next-generation solutions and intellectual property.
Through this expanded collaboration, customers in the Asia Pacific region can better leverage emerging technologies, including generative AI, to create new efficiencies and growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving business landscape. They will be closely supported by Microsoft technology experts and the 1,000 certified experts in the NCS offices. Additionally, customers can benefit from NCS’s end-to-end technology services, strong delivery track record in Asia Pacific, and proven expertise in solution localization.

As part of this collaboration, NCS is establishing a dedicated growth engine for Microsoft solutions, to orchestrate and accelerate innovation, sales and delivery for the organization. Businesses and governments can now better leverage the capabilities of Microsoft’s full suite of technologies and NCS’ comprehensive end-to-end solutions and capabilities. This accelerates their cloud migration and digital transformation deployment, and helps them better leverage the benefits of AI, hybrid cloud and security for greater transformational impact. It will be facilitated by experts on the ground and through close orchestration between the NCS and Microsoft teams.
Customers will be able to access NCS’ range of solutions and services which encompass core applications, infrastructure, engineering and cybersecurity services, as well as digital, data, cloud and platforms offered by NCS’ digital services arm, NEXT. Additionally, NEXT will play a key role in co-creating AI-driven innovations with customers and deploying them on Microsoft technology. For example, NEXT combined NCS’s in-house hyperlocal text-to-speech engine with Microsoft Copilot to enable high conversational accuracy, which is essential for many generative AI applications.
NCS’ network of delivery centers in Pune, Hanoi, Manila, Chengdu and Guangzhou will also provide clients with cost-effective delivery models, including the convergence of talent and assets across global operations. The expanded range of end-to-end offerings will be showcased at Tesseract, NCS Singapore Innovation Center and Microsoft Innovation Centers across the region.

Additionally, as part of this collaboration, NCS will invest in GitHub Copilot advocates to leverage AI to boost the efficiency and quality of software development projects. This will result in higher quality project development and deliveries for customers.
