RIYADH — The third edition of the World AI Summit will be held in Riyadh from September 10 to 12 under the slogan “For the good of humanity”, under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia.
The summit will cover a wide range of topics, including innovation in AI, the turning points that will shape the future of AI, and creating environments that foster human potential in AI. Discussions will also include the impact of AI locally and globally, the complementary relationship between humans and AI, business leaders in AI, generative AI, AI ethics, smart cities, and the infrastructure that supports AI technologies.
The summit aims to showcase the potential of AI to drive economic growth, societal progress and talent development. It will bring together more than 300 speakers, experts, specialists and decision-makers from 100 countries to explore the best ways to leverage AI technologies.
Engineer Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Chairman of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), invited global AI specialists and policymakers to share their ideas and frameworks to maximize the benefits of AI technologies. He stressed that the summit aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategic goals to advance AI and data programs, ensuring the Kingdom’s leadership in data-driven economies.
Saudi Arabia’s commitment to AI is evident in its national strategy and initiatives to harness the technology for positive societal impact, positioning the country as a leader in AI transformation by 2030.
