Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday championed the establishment of a global framework for the use of digital technology and the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI), saying security cannot be an afterthought suddenly in an interconnected world. Speaking at the inaugural session of the International Telecommunication Union – WTSA and India Mobile Congress, he highlighted the need for a rules-based framework for digital technology.
