Nvidia’s AI chips face design challenges
Nvidia Corp. has encountered a problem in manufacturing its latest AI processors, facing unexpected design challenges. The issue could delay the release of the Blackwell series by at least a quarter of a year. The delay is likely to impact several tech giants that rely on Nvidia chips, including Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC and Microsoft Corp., media reports said. Nvidia reached out to Microsoft earlier this week to discuss details of the delay, including the more sophisticated AI chip models. The information comes from an unnamed Microsoft employee and another source familiar with the hardware production process.

Vivo TWS 3e launched in India
Vivo is all set to introduce its latest audio offering, the Vivo TWS 3e, in the Indian market alongside the launch of the Vivo V40 series of smartphones. The company has officially announced the release date of these true wireless earbuds and has given a glimpse of their design and key features. The TWS 3e sports an in-ear form factor and will be available in two colour options. Durability seems to be a key focus as the earbuds will come with an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. Some of the highlighted features include active noise cancellation (ANC) technology and the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. Apart from revealing these details, Vivo has also hinted at the price of the TWS 3e via a promotional image.
RansomEXX attack that hit 300 Indian banks was facilitated by ‘misconfigured cloud server’
The cybersecurity incident that crippled around 300 Indian banks on Wednesday evening (July 31) was the result of a ransomware attack on a key technology service provider for small banks named C-Edge Technologies. The ransomware has been identified as a new and highly sophisticated variant of RansomEXX, ABP Live has learnt. The ransomware is known to attack high-profile organisations across the world and has been on the loose since 2018.
