This week’s NVIDA blog, “MAXimum AI: RTX-accelerated Adobe AI features accelerate content creation» highlights new GPU-accelerated technologies announced at the Adobe MAX creativity conference.
Here are some highlights:
NVIDIA RTX and GeForce RTX GPUs power Adobe’s AI-driven technologies for creators, whether accessed through the cloud or running on local RTX PCs and workstations. New GPU-accelerated technologies from Adobe include:
- Generative Extend in Premiere Pro (beta) is trained on secure content licensed and powered by Firefly Video Model. It uses AI to add frames to clips and allows video editors to correct or add existing footage without re-filming, and even create sample clips to inspire new ideas.
- Substance 3D Viewer (open beta) enhances 3D to 2D workflows within design teams, improving compatibility with other RTX-accelerated Adobe applications like Photoshop.
- Adobe Firefly AI tools are integrated into Substance 3D Collection, offering features such as Text to Texture, Text to Pattern, and Generative Background.
- Adobe Premiere Pro’s GPU-enhanced editing features include AI-based tools for speech enhancement, tagging, and filler word detection.
- Topaz Labs’ AI plugin for After Effects improves video quality, running 30% faster on GeForce RTX GPUs.
The October NVIDIA Studio driver, designed to power these creative applications, is now available for download.
