The North South University’s Office of External Affairs hosted a seminar titled “AI in Action: Transforming the Marketing Landscape with Generative Intelligence” on its campus on Wednesday, marking a milestone in exploring the role artificial intelligence in marketing.
Low Chin Yong, Managing Director and Academic Director of the Marketing Institute of Singapore Business School, delivered a speech. Known for his extensive knowledge in the field, Yong has explored the transformative potential of generative intelligence in revolutionizing modern marketing practices.
An engaging and interactive session followed Yong’s talk, during which students discussed various approaches and the impact of AI in marketing. The seminar also welcomed a delegation from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, including its president Roger Low Kit Fai.
NSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Atiqul Islam welcomed the initiative, highlighting the relevance and importance of AI in today’s marketing landscape. He emphasized: “AI in marketing is not just a technological development; it’s the ingenious fusion of data-driven insights and human creativity.
