Hailing India as the next big artificial intelligence (AI) playground, Samsung said it plans to bring AI and hyper-connectivity through its latest innovations to Indian consumers with the aim of improve their experience.
“AI will enable connected technologies to improve people’s daily lives while remaining non-intrusive and in the background. With our open collaboration model, we want to bring AI and hyper-connectivity to all our consumers “, Jong-Hee (JH) Han, vice president, CEO and head of the “Device eXperience (DX)” division at Samsung Electronics, said Friday.
Han’s remarks came while he visited Samsung BKC at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai, a first since the store opened in January.
India’s fastest-growing tech market
Han cited India as one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the world and offers a huge opportunity for Samsung. “India has a large population of young, tech-savvy consumers who inspire us to innovate…” he said.
The Samsung leader also invited consumers to experience the South Korean company’s latest AI innovations across its product portfolio, which includes TVs, digital appliances and smartphones.
Samsung BKC in-store experience
Han said the recently launched Samsung BKC store was “the embodiment of our ‘AI for All’ vision and would showcase ‘One Samsung.’ The store includes different zones, where consumers can directly experience Samsung’s latest AI innovations.
Notably, as part of its “AI for all” vision, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy AI in its new Galaxy S24 series of smartphones in January.
The Samsung BKC store was launched at the end of January with the aim of offering its consumers the “One Samsung” experience. The concept represents Samsung’s latest innovations in AI and aims to show how they power the company’s connected device ecosystem.
