Cutting-edge innovations in supply chain planning and generative AI were showcased at the annual Manhattan Exchange event in Melbourne. Hosted by Manhattan Associates, a leading provider of supply chain and omnichannel management software, the conference attracted over 200 representatives from a variety of sectors including retail, logistics and supply chain. The event provided a unique platform to explore the latest advancements and strategies shaping the industry.
The conference, themed “Make the Impossible, Possible,” focused on discussions around supply chain innovation, customer engagement, unified commerce, and automation. Sessions at the event highlighted how emerging technologies are helping businesses meet consumer demands for faster, more flexible order fulfillment and more personalized shopping experiences.
As part of its continuing legacy of industry leadership and technology innovation, Manhattan Associates introduced two revolutionary new solutions at the event: Manhattan Active Supply Chain Planning Solution and Manhattan Active Maven.
Manhattan Active’s supply chain planning solution is considered the industry’s first unified business planning platform. It enables bi-directional collaboration between supply chain planning and execution systems, allowing planners to assess all operational factors in real time. This capability helps align systems, inventory, and resources toward a common business goal.
Manhattan Active Maven, the second innovation unveiled, is a specialized generative AI (GenAI) solution designed specifically for customer service. Combined with Manhattan Assist, this innovation integrates advanced GenAI capabilities across all Manhattan Active solutions, setting a new standard for customer service excellence.
Raghav Sibal, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Manhattan Associates, said of the event: “Hosting the APAC Exchange conference has allowed us to showcase innovations that are truly redefining what is possible in supply chain management. With the introduction of these game-changing solutions, we are not only closing the gap in supply chain intelligence, we are setting new benchmarks for efficiency and innovation that will drive the industry forward.”
Sibal continued, “Attendees had the unique opportunity to explore and interact with our Omni solutions at the Exchange Pop-Up Store, providing a first-hand look at the technologies shaping the future of retail and supply chain management.”
A highlight of the conference was the series of presentations from high-profile speakers including Matt Hassall, Managing Director of Omni Fulfilment at Super Retail Group, Olivia Vincent, Supply Chain Director at L’Oréal and David Brennan, Managing Director of Supply Chain at Chemist Warehouse.
