In the latest music technology news, AI Music Company Vision KLAY teamed up with Universal music group develop an “ethical model” for AI-generated music that works collaboratively with the music industry and human creatives.
KLAY is developing a global ecosystem to host AI-driven experiences and content, including accurate attribution, and will not compete with traditional music services’ artist catalogs.
The KLAY management team includes Ary Attié (music producer and tech veteran), Thomas Hesse (former president of Sony Music Entertainment), and Björn Winckler (Google Deepmind).
• TuneCore named Atticus Shelley as the company’s new vice president of finance. Shelley began her career working for Hulu before moving to Spotify where he served as a founding director of the company’s financial planning and analysis team.
Most recently, Shelley served as Executive Director of Finance at Financial Invested.
• Site management giant Oak View Group named Alex Patton as Senior Director of Reservations, Canadian Arena Alliance.
She joins OVG with past work experience Living nation, effortand Tthe agency group and high-profile Canadian festivals, including Boots and Hearts, WayHome Music and Arts, NXNEAnd Toronto Jazz Festival.
