IIT Guwahati and E&ICT Academy, in collaboration with Simplilearn, have launched new professional certification programs in Data Analytics and Generative AI. The programs will be available online. The course has been designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the field of data analytics and other technologies. The entry fee for the Generative AI for Data Analytics program at IIT Guwahati and E&ICT Academy is Rs 1,19,900 (inclusive of taxes and all applicable program fees).
Candidates will be exposed to live online classes taught by industry experts and interactive masterclasses by IIT Guwahati faculty and IBM specialists, 25+ hands-on projects, IIT Guwahati Campus Immersion, hackathons and Q&A sessions hosted by IBM. In addition, the program covers concepts like Excel, SQL, Programming Fundamentals, Mathematical and Statistical Computing, Data Visualization using Tableau, Generative AI, Rapid Engineering and much more. Additionally, the candidate will earn Executive Alumina status from IIT Guwahati and E&ICT and will have access to Simplilearn’s JobAssist service.
Anand Narayanan, Chief Product Officer, Simplilearn, said that the job market is seeing a significant increase in demand for skilled professionals in the fields of data analytics and AI. According to McKinsey, the demand for professionals in these fields is growing by 50% annually, which shows the significant need for skilled talent.
Who is eligible?
- Applicants must be university graduates.
- They must have at least 50 percent marks on their school leaving certificate.
- Previous professional experience is not required but is encouraged.
- Candidates without any programming or specific technology experience may also apply.
According to the official statement, the program is designed to accommodate candidates from diverse educational backgrounds and provide them with skills in data analysis and generative AI.
