The Global AI Ethics Institute (GAIEI) has called for applications for its inaugural White Paper Prize, offering a US$1,000 cash award for excellence in AI ethics research.
Eligible articles must have been published in 2024 in a recognized and accredited journal, newspaper, magazine or book chapter. They must be entirely original works written by researchers, academics or public sector professionals from around the world.
The submission deadline has been set for the end of calendar year 2024. The competition welcomes topics that address the ethics of AI from a global perspective, including its impact on regions such as the South and Far East, or any other aspect of AI governance and AI. its broader societal effects.
The winning entry will be announced in January via the GAIEI advertising network. The article will also be made public on the GAIEI website, subject to the consent of the author and permission for the original publication.
