Driving innovation with Fujitsu’s next-generation networking technologies
Fujitsu will showcase its groundbreaking networking technologies, AI use cases and transformative Fujitsu Uvance products for customers and society at MWC Barcelona 2024. The company aims to “connect the world for a sustainable future”. In addition to showcasing the latest uses of Fujitsu Kozuchi, an AI platform that promotes a greener society, the company will also showcase Fujitsu Kozuchi VisionAI, a tracking system that provides pinpoint accuracy in real time.
Optical transmission system and 5G virtualized radio base stations are two of the most important network technologies for Open RAN deployments, and Fujitsu will showcase these and other AI-enhanced network technologies with several examples of their practical application. In the 6G era, Fujitsu will unveil its plans and showcase its next generation of innovative solutions, including the FUJITSU-MONAKA processor, known for its high performance and low power consumption. In addition to showcasing various AI use cases and solutions, Fujitsu will demonstrate how generative AI drives business offerings such as the ESG Management Platform.

Breaking the boundaries

Fujitsu will cooperate with its customers to achieve Sustainable transformation (SX) through the development of AI-based networking technologies, as part of its vision for Fujitsu Uvance, which aspires to create a more sustainable world.
Using generative AI and other proprietary technologies, these solutions can significantly simplify network operations, identify the source of an outage, and then leverage a variety of domain knowledge databases to suggest solutions. VRAN solutions that work across multiple platforms, enabling communications services and AI applications. RU solutions that are ORAN compliant and integrate with AI-based applications to achieve excellent performance while consuming low power. A fully photonic network with low latency, high capacity, and low power consumption is crucial for artificial intelligence applications; this is achieved thanks to the 1FINITY optical transmission system. The use of digital twins to facilitate automation and optimization of the entire network operations lifecycle. Fujitsu is working hard on exciting new technologies, such as 6G projects, disaggregated photonic computing systems, and the next-generation, high-performance, energy-efficient FUJITSU-MONAKA (codename) processor, which is expected to hit the market in 2027 .
