FPT And Ericsson have entered into a partnership to accelerate 5G adoption and drive advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. This collaboration is expected to lay the foundations for an international partnership aimed at accelerating the adoption of 5G in businesses.
The partnership will initially focus on developing applications that showcase the potential of 5G in key areas including advanced healthcare monitoring, enhanced manufacturing solutions, and augmented and virtual reality for retail trade. Through these initiatives, both companies will make dedicated efforts in Vietnam to drive innovations in AI and digital transformation.
By partnering with a global leader in 5G technologyFPT will harness the power of 5G in connectivity and data processing to advance its strategic focus on AI, enhance its capabilities and enable the development of more sophisticated AI-based solutions. With the high-speed data transfer and scalability of 5G, essential for processing large volumes of data, FPT and Ericsson will develop and deploy innovative use cases for the consumer and enterprise sectors, starting with Vietnam as an initial market.
This collaboration is here to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s digital infrastructure, marking a milestone as FPT becomes one of Ericsson’s first 5G partners in the country.
