LAHORE:
The Center for Applied Molecular Biology (CAMB) of Punjab University (PU) organized a training workshop on “Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Academic Writings”. Tuesday’s event proved to be a crucial step in the academic community’s journey toward integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into scholarly research and publishing, attracting 55 on-site attendees and 15 virtual attendees eager to integrate AI technology into their academic practices.
CAMB Director Prof. Rehan Sadiq Shaikh, CAMB Creative Club Coordinator Dr. Muhammad Usman Ghani, faculty members, researchers and students were present. In his speech, Professor Sadiq highlighted the central role of the workshop in setting new standards of academic innovation, adding that feedback from participants prompted CAMB to consider hosting future events further delving into the confluence technology and academia.

Dr. Muhammad Usman Ghani welcomed the participants and praised the efforts of Creative Club President Aqsa Ashraf and Vice President Asif Muneer, whose dedication ensured a smooth and productive experience for all participants.
Participants were immersed in a comprehensive program covering the use of AI tools to address ethical considerations in article writing.
