The Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), a digital marketing certification provider, has launched its first artificial intelligence (AI) course in digital marketing, following overwhelming demand from marketers.
The decision to launch the course follows DMI’s latest member survey in 2023, which found that AI was the top skill members are looking to develop over the next 12 months.
The course will fill the AI knowledge gap for marketers at all levels, from junior to CMO level. Through a combination of hands-on lessons, toolkits, and real-world examples, students will learn how to leverage AI technologies to gain key insights and refine their campaigns.

The course is designed to develop, improve and optimize digital marketing activities, help students understand and implement AI data-driven marketing and become familiar with key AI tools such as ChatGPT and Stability AI for research.
Learners will also be equipped to use AI tools to facilitate content development, data-driven decision-making, creative design and much more.
Delivered online, the course represents a total of 5.5 hours of self-paced learning content and is divided into four interactive modules, including:
- Module 1 – AI-Driven Digital Marketing
- Module 2 – Implementing AI-Driven Digital Marketing
- Module 3 – AI Tools for Marketing: ChatGPT, Stability AI and Other Smart Tools
- Module 4 – Essential Skills for Marketers in an AI-Driven World
