Getting started with AI Data block raised over $500,000. The Istanbul-based startup created AI analytics agents to replace traditional data analytics dashboards with proactive and constant KPI monitoring.
The experienced founding team, Cem Ruso (who left Blutv for Time Warner) and Orkun Soylu (ex-Insider), saw how difficult it is to create KPI visibility and a truly data-driven culture using existing complex analysis solutions.
According to Ruso, the size and complexity of data is growing rapidly, making it incredibly difficult, expensive and time-consuming for the average company to develop business analytics capabilities.
“We believe we can streamline and automate the majority of this process with autonomous AI agents. We basically want to take your data and tell you what works and what doesn’t.
Datapad empowers human data analysts and decision makers. Imagine that you are the CEO of a startup: you can ask occasional questions but also instruct the assistant to prepare periodic scheduled analyzes on certain topics. The assistant will have a superhuman memory of all company history and will take into account external context in real time, such as local holidays, competitor events and industry benchmarks.
“The new generation of productivity software is becoming more and more conversational,” added Soylu.
“That’s why we focus on construction assistants who can take a brief and act on it on a periodic basis.
A CEO will be able to give the agent a “task” and receive an in-depth analysis sent to their inbox a minute later.
Although Datapad users interact with a single chat, in the background is a huge AI team of agents with expertise in marketing, SEO, conversion rate optimization, and business strategy who work together to build the best analytics possible. Essentially, core value moves beyond data analysis and into the realm of strategic recommendations.
Pitch Drive led the financing with additional participation e2vcStartupist Ventures and several angel investors.
According to Koen, general partner at Pitchdrive VC, Datapad will completely disrupt business analytics as we know it:
“Cem and Orkun impressed us with their skills in creating products that people love.
They discovered a very clear problem and turned the product that AI is today into a ready-to-use solution.
Datapad will focus funds on scaling while growing its database of more than 100 customers around the world.
