Cognizant, one of the world’s largest and most valuable technology companies, has been ramping up its marketing initiatives as the role of technology in transforming businesses and brands becomes increasingly evident.
Aware Global Head of Marketing Gaurav Chand’s spoke to Storyboard18’s Delshad Irani and took a deep dive into the company’s marketing strategies and trends in the B2B space.
Its partnerships in sports, the deployment of technologies such as AI in marketing and how the marketing function is helping the IT major achieve its sustainability goals.
He said: “From a technology perspective, the biggest elephant in the room is generative AI. Generative AI has and will have an absolutely profound impact on marketing in a very, very good way. I’m personally excited about it. If you see the protests, we’re just scratching the surface at the moment.
“So I think generative AI is here, it’s here to stay, there’s no doubt about it. And that’s going to have a profound impact on how marketing is done,” he noted.
