“The biggest challenge for AI today is not the technology itself, but rather how we imagine and use it creatively. It’s about imagining innovative applications that really make a difference. In addition, we have focused on the costs associated with developing AI, particularly in terms of the hardware requirements for mobile devices,” Chase XuRealme Vice President and President of Realme Global Marketing, told ETTelecom in an interview.
“As we launch AI features on our phones, we strive to strike a balance between cost and performance,” he said. “Despite these challenges, we firmly believe in the potential of AI and it remains a core focus of our product planning,” Xu added.
“At Realme, we work on four aspects: efficiency, gaming, imaging and personalization and we have devoted a lot of effort to research and development.”

Asked about the Indian market, he said, “India is an important market for us not only because of its large number of users but also because of the high level of tech savvy among them. This makes India crucial for Realme as its requirements perfectly match our brand mission and vision.”
With a young and vibrant population and a strong preference for online shopping, India seems to be a tailor-made country for Realme. “We are determined to continue our efforts in the Indian market, driven by our determination to meet the needs of our users and uphold our brand values,” Xu said.
Realme announced at its Fanfest 828 the launch of its fastest charging power of 320W that will fully charge a smartphone in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. However, it will take some time before the solution is commercially available.
The smartphone maker also announced the launch of a new addition to its ‘Number Series’ – the realme 13 Series 5G. With a focus on performance and speed, the new Number Series is set to meet the evolving needs of consumers who demand more from their smartphones in terms of multitasking capabilities, gaming experiences, and overall responsiveness, the company said.
