It’s clear that AI will change the way we work in the near future, and businesses that don’t adopt AI will be left behind. Marketers will need to figure out how to apply AI to their marketing efforts without losing the human factor.
In September 2023, we surveyed 516 marketing professionals about their predictions for the biggest digital marketing trends in 2024, and 92% said integrating AI into their marketing would be the number one trend . The industry is experiencing a significant shift, with marketers redefining their strategies to improve results with AI technologies.
What are marketers interested in when it comes to AI and marketing? Using Brandwatch’s Consumer Research tool, we created an audience of marketers on X and people talking about marketing on Reddit. In their conversations about AI and marketing, mentions of SEO, content creation and marketing increased by over 90%. Our analysis showed that AI can be useful in a wide variety of marketing activities. In the months and years to come, we expect marketers to implement AI as an integral part of their marketing and become more sophisticated about how to use AI to achieve the best results commercial.
