CGC organizes a conference on the impact of AI innovations on businesses

Chandigarh, March 9, 2024: A two-day international conference on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) innovations on business and IT practices was organized by Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA) CGC Landran, in collaboration with Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce (SACC), India.
It brought together academic researchers, industry experts and educators to discuss how advancements in AI technologies would shape businesses and management strategies in the near future.
The conference aimed to highlight the implications and impact of these technological innovations on the industry through a series of panel discussions and interactive sessions. A souvenir was also distributed to mark the occasion.
Discussions at the two-day conference revolved around four topics, namely: advances in AI-based data analysis techniques; Impact of AI in marketing, human resources, finance and operations management; New trends in AI innovations in IT practices and new trends in AI innovations in sustainable practices.
Dr. Christopher Cook, Executive Director of Admissions and Recruitment, University of Idaho, USA, joined the conference as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests gracing this event were r. Yadu Kumar Yadav, Deputy Director (NPC), under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. from India; Mr. Aman Gulati Deputy Director NPC, DPIIT, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Govt. from India; Ms. Liji Thomas, senior technologist and thought leader; Mr. Navdeep Singh Gill, Founder & CEO of Xenon Stack and Mr. Vineet Khurana CEO of SACC India.
They were welcomed by Dr PN Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran, and Prof (Dr) Ramandeep Saini, Principal Director, ASFC.
In line with CGC’s concerted efforts to create enhanced dialogue and exchange of ideas between industry and academia, this conference provided an excellent opportunity to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration on the transformative role that AI would play to shape the future of business and IT, said Prof. (Dr.) Ramandeep Saini, Principal Director, ASFC, CGC Landran.
By fostering cross-sector engagement and knowledge exchange, this conference helped our students better understand AI technologies and their responsible integration into society, she added.
