The UBD School of Business and Economics (UBDSBE) is looking for a highly qualified individual in the field of artificial intelligence and data analytics in business and management to join our team, who will be able to:
- teach courses (in the areas of artificial intelligence and data analytics in business and management) in the programmes offered by UBDSBE and modules offered by other Faculties, Institutes and Centres (FICs) of Universiti Brunei Darussalam;
- develop learning and teaching design frameworks, and improve assessment methods in related modules in diverse contexts;
- contribute to research and publication activities through high-impact publications, engagement within the Institute, including research seminars, and strengthening the UBDSBE research hubs;
- collaborate with academics and professionals inside and outside UBD to achieve global impact through research excellence and innovation; and
- active participation in UBDSBE activities.
Required academic and professional qualifications:
- PhD in artificial intelligence, data analytics, data science, computer science or a related field (with a specialization in business and management) from a recognized university;
- Demonstrates an exceptional record of research productivity and teaching excellence in the field of business and corporate law;
- Candidates’ experience in designing demand-driven programs for government and/or the private sector and in conducting conferences for professional/executive development programs in relevant leadership areas would be an added advantage; and
- Preference will be given to those who have taught (and supervised research students) at the graduate level.
