Air group Air France-KLM has partnered with tech giant Google Cloud to improve its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy.
This partnership will enable the airline to leverage Google Cloud’s data, analytics and generative AI technology to drive its data-centric, multi-cloud strategy.
Air France-KLM aims to increase customer satisfaction by offering more personalized services, optimizing ground and in-flight operations and simplifying the internal use of data and AI technologies.
The airline is undertaking a transformation of its three existing data centers to a multi-cloud strategy, moving applications to the cloud to accelerate data value and insights.
At the beginning of November 2024, Air France-KLM selected India Tata Consulting Services to modernize its data architecture by migrating it to the cloud.
By using Google Cloud data and analytics tools, including BigQuery, Air France-KLM will retain full ownership and control of its data. This is expected to improve time to market, drive innovation and reduce data processing latency.

Google Cloud will also offer training and support sessions to Air France-KLM teams.
