Amid debate over the extent to which the state should regulate artificial intelligence in the private sector, state government is protected from cyberattacks by AI technology that makes security decisions on the spot.
Cybersecurity companies CrowdStrike and Abnormal Security are two of nine companies used by state agencies that provide AI services. For some, like Microsoft and Zoom, these services represent only a fraction of what they provide to the state.
