Today AI co-pilot for marketers Esoteric announced that it had raised a $5 million seed round.
Marketing teams today face multiple difficulties in their workflows. Most teams work across disparate technology stacks (the average company uses 91 marketing tools) to process large amounts of data across different channels simultaneously.
In response, Arcane created the first knowledge base for marketers that combines everything they need (data, metrics, assets, targeting parameters) on a single platform.
By integrating with content, organic, paid, social and email marketing channels, Arcane’s AI co-pilot supports marketers on the back end by automating the most mundane tasks, evaluating and reporting in real time on their campaigns, and recommending next steps.
This helps marketers and their businesses save crucial time and money and improve the quality of decision-making.
According to Ben Hacking, co-founder and CEO of Arcane:
“The vast majority of marketers’ time is spent on tasks other than generating copy. We therefore see significant potential in the augmentation and automation of these tasks.
To do this, we combined the latest AI technologies (augmented recovery generation, autonomous agents and multi-modal models) to chain together workflows that capture more of marketers’ repetitive activities, giving them time to focus on higher impact tasks.
We are excited to continue this mission with this new investment round and to have the Accel team join us on this journey. »
Sonali De Rycker, Partner at Accel, said:
“Digital marketing has become a multi-hundred-billion dollar industry, but there remains significant opportunity for a platform like Arcane.
Having experienced first-hand the frustrations of completing repetitive, time-consuming daily tasks, Ben and Jeremy are uniquely positioned to create a platform that will transform the modern marketing workflow.
We’ve been incredibly impressed by the cutting-edge AI automations built into Arcane, and we believe the platform has the potential to radically change the way marketers everywhere operate.
Funding was led by Acceleratewith the participation of CocoaFirstminute Capital, Kima Ventures and Seed camp. Angel investors including Connor Hayes, VP of Product for Generative AI at Meta, Tom Blomfield, Founder of Monzo, Ilkka Paananen, CEO of Supercell, and Anthony Yazbeck, President of WeWork, also participated in the round.
The funding includes a first-of-its-kind $1 million pre-seed round and will be used to expand Arcane’s engineering and data teams, as well as further develop the platform’s AI capabilities ahead of its beta release open later this year.
