Despite this low risk, a survey conducted by Microsoft and LinkedIn found that 74% of Thai business leaders would not hire candidates without AI skills. The study also found that 92% of knowledge workers in Thailand are currently using AI at work, and 81% of them are using AI tools of their choice. Additionally, 91% of Thai business leaders believe their companies need to adopt AI to stay competitive.
In response to this trend, the report highlights the growing importance of AI skills in the job market, with 90% of Thai executives expressing a preference for candidates with AI skills over those with more work experience.
