The Advertising Association today (August 1) released its first report from its AI Task Force detailing the creative successes, potential dangers and regulatory challenges the emerging technology brings to marketers.
The working group was established in September 2023 and is co-chaired by Google and VCCP as well as members of the Advertising Association. This first report is therefore less about establishing strict guidelines for marketers to follow in adopting generative AI, and more about building communities and sharing best practices. It is divided into three parts: The context and opportunities of AI, AI in action and regulation, and Sustainability and ethics in AI.
