For parents, educators, and school administrators who want to establish an inclusive and equitable learning environment, it is imperative that they understand the crucial role that artificial intelligence plays in this process.
AI-based solutions that use data analytics and machine learning algorithms can personalize education by providing personalized training, real-time feedback, and adaptive exams. This maximizes the educational experience of each student. UNESCO is committed to supporting Member States in leveraging AI technologies to achieve the Education 2030 Agenda, while ensuring that fundamental principles of inclusion and equity guide their application in contexts educational. This is due to the benefits associated with it. Now let’s explore the applications and use cases of AI in education to gain new insights.
AI Use Cases in Education
AI has several uses in education, changing the way teachers teach, the way students learn, and the way educational institutions operate. By 2024, 47% of learning management tools and resources in India will be AI-integrated, according to a Business Today analysis. This indicates the growing need for AI-based technologies from knowledge providers as well as learners. An overview of some application cases related to AI in education is provided below:
Mentoring systems: AI-powered educational programs use complex calculations to give students personalized, instant feedback. The AI evaluates students’ responses as they use the learning materials, identifies problem areas and adjusts explanations to improve understanding. This personalized method corrects the acquisition rate, thereby filling knowledge gaps.
Integrated screening and assessment: These systems enable fair assessment, improve the quality of teaching and promote fruitful collaboration between students and teachers. Assessment: To monitor online exams, stop cheating and promote fairness, artificial intelligence is a crucial instrument. It reduces teachers’ efforts by using advanced tracking and verification techniques, allowing them to focus on exam quality.
