CrowdStrike announced a strategic partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to improve the security of AI innovations, including large language models (LLM), through the integration of the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform and the GreenLake cloud and HPE OpsRamp AIOps.
Through this integration, IT operations and cybersecurity can be unified into a single process aimed at securely accelerating AI innovation. The combined capabilities of the Falcon platform and OpsRamp’s AI-driven observability aim to provide a comprehensive view of attack surfaces across an organization’s infrastructure and applications. This integration is designed to help organizations identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within their accelerated AI pipelines, ensuring the resilience and integrity of AI innovations.
George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, emphasized the importance of integrating security with technological advancements. “Security must keep up with the slope of technological innovation. GenAI promises to transform business operations, and the best AI requires the best AI-powered security. Our partnership with HPE combines powerful enterprise computing with the leading platform -industry security shape to accelerate end-to-end security -end the adoption of AI and ML,” Kurtz said.
OpsRamp delivers a unified operational view of applications and infrastructure through comprehensive observability and provides complete operations and automation for NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI workloads from a single console. Its operational co-pilot uses an AI-powered generative conversational assistant to facilitate rapid problem detection and resolution. Additional HPE GreenLake cloud integrations will enable CrowdStrike to protect AI workloads and LLMs, leveraging joint AI solutions and go-to-market strategies developed by HPE and NVIDIA.
HPE’s broader portfolio also includes HPE Private Cloud AI. Announced at HPE Discover 2024, this solution integrates NVIDIA AI computing, networking and software with HPE AI storage, compute and GreenLake cloud. It is designed to deliver advanced AI capabilities from the edge to data centers to the cloud.
Fidelma Russo, EVP/GM Hybrid Cloud and Chief Technology Officer at HPE, explained the importance of security in AI applications. “Security is crucial for AI applications and the data they access. Our strategic collaboration with CrowdStrike, combined with our OpsRamp observability, provides comprehensive endpoint security to protect your AI applications running on HPE Private Cloud AI,” said Russo.
This partnership between CrowdStrike and HPE aims to ensure that organizations can securely adopt and implement generative AI technologies in a variety of environments, ranging from edge to cloud. The integration of advanced cybersecurity measures aims to increase business confidence in deploying AI solutions, thereby facilitating broader adoption of AI technologies.
