The recent report released on Monday states that around 94 per cent of Indian service professionals use artificial intelligence (AI) and further believe that the new technology saves their time while working.
In a new report from Salesforce, it was stated that around 89% of service professionals in AI-enabled organizations said the technology helps them reduce costs.
Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, MD – Sales, Salesforce India, said, “As customer expectations continue to rise, the benefits of AI are clear: increased productivity, reduced costs and improved customer experience. »
“AI and data are powering the next level of customer experience, with AI proving its value across a variety of use cases, delivering unparalleled value to customers while unlocking revenue-generating opportunities,” he said. -he adds.
The report surveyed more than 5,500 service professionals across 30 different countries, including 300 in India.
Additionally, the report reveals that 93% of the country’s service organizations plan to increase their investments in AI this year.
The top three service use cases for AI in the country include automated summaries and reports, intelligent offers and recommendations, and Knowledge article creation.
Furthermore, the report also revealed that around 79 percent of organizations in the country are expected to contribute more to their revenue by this year (2024).
While 85 percent of service organizations expected an increase in their budget by this year, about 80 percent expected an increase in their workforce this year.

Recently it was reported that South Korea plans to invest around 710.2 billion ($526.9 million) in government projects which aim to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into daily life. The Ministry of Science and ICT further confirmed the decision taken by the company and revealed that the High-Level Advisory Council on AI Strategy had approved the investment plan. The funds will support 69 AI projects across various sectors, to ensure that the public enjoys the benefits of AI technology in their daily activities.
